What Is Dermalux Try-Wave MD light therapy?

LED Phototherapy is founded on the idea that living cells can absorb light and be impacted by it, and it has long been known for its regenerative and anti-inflammatory effects.

While we generally equate sunlight with skin ageing and damage, it also has a number of beneficial effects on the body. It aids in the production of vitamin D, offers energy and serotonin, and aids in the natural restoration of our skin.

he differences between the positive and negative effects of light are the amount and the parts of the light spectrum we are exposed to. Continuous UV exposure is harmful, however controlled levels of Red, Blue, and Near Infrared light have been shown to be beneficial in clinical studies.

Dermalux combines clinically proven wavelengths of light with breakthrough proprietary LED technology to deliver safe and effective results for a wide range of skin concerns without discomfort or downtime, winning Best UK Manufacturer 2018 and UK Treatment of the Year for five consecutive years at the Aesthetic Awards.

Dermalux is hailed as the "ideal complexion boost" since it rapidly energises skin cells and revitalises a dull, weary appearance. A course of therapy promotes healthy looking skin, accelerates cell renewal, and resolves a variety of skin issues by boosting the skin's natural rejuvenation and repair processes.

It doesn't happen by accident that you have great skin. Learn about the advantages of Dermalux and how this award-winning treatment may help you alter your skin.

What are the Benefits of an Dermalux Light Therapy?

Clients should expect rapid improvement in skin tone, moisture, and overall brightness after a single Dermalux® treatment, which will last for many days. Irritation and redness are reduced. The majority of changes, on the other hand, occur organically over the course of treatment.

LED Phototherapy produces cumulative results, therefore a series of sessions in close succession is recommended for best results. The effects can continue for several months, and frequent maintenance treatments ensure that the skin's appearance and health improves over time.

You’re almost guaranteed to notice a significant improvement in the appearance of your skin after just one session, and results are highly likely to continue for weeks afterwards.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TREATMENT

In contrast to other facials offered here at The Beauty Wardrobe, our Dermalux LED MD Tri-wave consists of very strong light therapy.

Skin analysis will be completed prior to the first treatment to expose any hidden skin issues. Your practitioner will then use this information to recommend tailor-made settings specific to your skin type.

During the non contact LED Light therapy, you will be asked to lay down on a couch, wear googles and the machine will be 1 inch from your face. The light is bright and can sometimes be seen even with your eyes closed. Do not book in if you suffer from any light or photo related conditions i.e. epilepsy .

The treatment takes 20 mins to perform however your skin needs cleansing of any products, especially retinol products (which you would need to be off for at least 48 hours before any light therapy).

After the first 1 minute you feel relaxed and some may even drift into a relaxed state.
