Whats the difference between Laser & IPL (Intensed Pulsed Light)?

Without getting too technical, Laser and IPL is the terminology used for permanent hair reduction. The difference is Laser uses a single wave length of light and IPL uses a broad spectrum of light. IPL can treat more types of hair in one treatment and treats larger surface area in a short period of time; for this reason IPL is less invasive on the skin and if you ask someone who have had Laser v IPL treatment, they would say the Laser treatment is more aggressive and an expensive treatment too. It is a fact that IPL is more widely used in salons today.
